Well, we suffered the Lions first loss at home this season, but not because we didn't tailgate our asses off. It was another great day in the lot, made extra special by the guys from All Man Weekend, The Feasters, the Tubgaters and the Third Annual Detroit Tailgate Chili Cook-Off.

Bremer/Sage Win Cornhole Tournament
Congratulations to the team of Bremer/Sage for taking the title. It was a hard fought battle, and the final game was against their own members of the Beery Sanders Bus. Bremer and Sage received VIP passes to the autograph session with Roy Williams at the Somerset Collection in Troy.

Bronco Fans Kick Ass
We've found new respect for the Denver Broncos and their fans. These guys and gals are football and tailgate professionals and they're welcome in our yard any time. Special thanks to Bronco Bum for the awesome endorsement on our front page.

This Sunday, November 4th, we're holding a cornhole tournament. Winners receive VIP Meet and Greet Passes to the Roy Williams autograph session on Monday, November 5th at the Somerset Collection Mall in Troy, MI from 6:00-8:00 PM courtesy of Signature Collectables.

Tournament registration will begin at 9:00 am in Tailgating Lot 1 of the Eastern Market. Two-man teams. Think you've got what it takes? If you do, you'll be meeting Roy Williams!

The Beery Sanders Bus

We'd like to welcome the arrival of The Beery Sanders Bus to the Eastern Market lots. Co-owned by Matt Sage, Kim Sage, Eric Sage and Matt Grimes, this church bus has gone to tailgate heaven and will embark on its' maiden voyage during the next home game vs Tampa Bay.

Check out their cool website that will document the process of building a true tailgating machine over the next year. The bus is "brand new," and it'll be fun to see it evolve from game to game.

Wow, what a day! Beautiful weather, a rocking band, tons of food, gallons of beer, friends, family, Theo Spight singing and a LIONS WIN! Thanks to HELICON, Theo and all our friends new and old who help make the party happen.

Biggest Party in the NFC North

Our good pal Jeff Tuttle was scheduled to play this week's tailgate party, but has come down with a mysterious Mexican respiratory voodoo infection. We've placed him on the PUP list and he'll hopefully be feeling better and back playing the tailgate later this season.

We'd like to thank the mighty HELICON for stepping in on such short notice. I can guarantee they're going to rock your socks off and into next year's dirty laundry. We'll probably have to find a new parking lot to tailgate in after this one... it'll be hard to tailgate in a smoking crater.

Special Guest Surprise?
You never know who's going to show up at a DetroitTailgate.com party. All we can say is that if you missed the last tailgate, you'll want to get to this one.
